JAKE Jake is a stunning two year old, gelding. He's gorgeous even with a little of his winter coat still on. Jake is a golden palomino when he is completely shed off. His ground work has been done. He has been on the trail with a lead horse to show him the ropes. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with Jake. He crossed every log, ditch, muddy bog, and water we came to. Of course he was behind the lead horse, but it took no effort to get him to cross these things . He has a head full of sense. His first set of shoes was no big deal either. He has been clipped and accepted it well. We have not pushed him for gait as of yet. He has gaited slow and fast. Teaching our colts to be safe is our first concern, how they gait is second. I will keep updates on his progress for everyone to see. I expect great things from this colt.
Jake and Erin.

3-30-09 After only a few trail rides, Jake is very comfortable taking the lead. I have discovered that he can gait with a good amount of speed for the experience he's had. We have made a short video of him under saddle. Keep in mind he has only been on the trail four times when this video was made. I'd be happy to send it to you, just drop me an e-mail. 4-16-09 He just keeps getting better. Jake has an excellent gait. He is very smooth. He is ready for someone with riding experience. This is a good colt! 5-5-09 Still doing great! 5-19-09 Today we rode over some NEW obstacles.......
Wooden bridges? Nothing to it!
8-4-09 Sold!! Thanks
